AIS - Dimensional Inspection Lab

About Advanced Inspection Services

AIS was founded in 2000 by Brian Christensen and Rod Iverson, two seasoned QA veterans who brought with them wide-ranging surface plate and CMM inspection expertise in a variety of manufacturing processes, with heavy experience in the castings industry. We offer metrology services, CMM inspection and dimensional inspection services.

In 2002 AIS merged with Productivity Quality Inc., a distributor of quality assurance measurement equipment and a provider of a variety of QA-related services. This union gave the company a new level of flexibility and extended the capabilities of AIS beyond dimensional inspection services.

Today AIS has eight full-time inspectors assisted by our Customer Service Manager, Rod Shadick, himself a highly experienced QA expert. In addition, we're able to draw on the engineering and programming expertise of PQI applications engineers.

We have over a million dollars worth of the latest dimensional inspection and CMM inspection ; our machines have an average age of three years. See the equipment page for descriptions and capacities.

Of course, even the best people can't do the job without the right tools. And the best tools are useless in the hands of people who don't know how to use them. We provide our CMM inspection and metrology services under a simple principle: make sure you have the best people, give them the best tools and keep them up to date on the latest procedures and techniques.

The A2LA logo on your inspection certificate means that we are an A2LA accredited company for technical competence in the field of dimensional inspection per ISO/IEC 17025 for the identified inspection procedure(s). Click here for details and to view our Scope of Accreditation.

One of the things that help us to go beyond metrology services in supporting our customers is our relationship with the Productivity Partners.
